Physical Therapist – Inpatient Rehabilitation
Location: Rome, NY
Job Type: Contract (26–52 Weeks)
Schedule: Day Shift
- Monday – Thursday
- 8 Hours per Day
- 4 Days per Week
Contract Physical Therapist needed for inpatient rehab in Rome, NY. Responsible for evaluating and treating patients with complex rehabilitation needs, developing treatment plans, and working with an interdisciplinary team. Position is Monday–Thursday day shift for 26–52 weeks.
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapist License
- Experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation preferred
- Ability to work independently with complex rehabilitation cases
- Strong interdisciplinary communication and patient care skills
- Independently administer Physical Therapy evaluations and treatments.
- Provide rehabilitation services to patients with complex therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with rehabilitation leadership, nursing staff, and medical providers.
- Participate in bi-weekly care conferences.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and rehabilitation standards.
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
