Project Manager - Heavy Civil / Public UtilitiesLocation: Salt Lake City, Utah Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 DOE + Benefits Industry: Heavy Civil * Public Utilities * Excavation * Underground InfrastructureA well-respected heavy civil contractor in the Salt Lake City area is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of public utility and infrastructure work. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction-focused PM who enjoys managing projects from award through closeout while working closely with field operations. Position Overview The Project Manager will oversee a mix of public utility and heavy civil projects throughout northern Utah. Depending on project size, the successful candidate will manage 1-3 projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from award through completion Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts Coordinate with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and owners Oversee procurement, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders Monitor cost performance and project profitability Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships Support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company standards Qualifications 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction project management Strong background in: Public utilities (water, sewer, storm drain) Excavation and earthwork Municipal and civil infrastructure projectsExperience managing multiple projects at one time Strong understanding of construction means and methods Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills What's Offered What's Offered$120K-$140K base salary DOE Comprehensive benefits package Strong pipeline of work throughout the Salt Lake City market Growth opportunities into senior leadership roles Collaborative, field-oriented culture This role is ideal for someone looking to join a growing contractor and play a key role in delivering essential infrastructure projects throughout the region. #J-18808-Ljbffr
