Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP is a rapidly growing, national specialty litigation firm seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support our talent acquisition efforts across the Firm. This role is primarily focused on first-year associate hiring, while also providing support for lateral recruiting and other hiring initiatives. The following set of success factors describe the characteristics of those who are successful in our Firm: Unpretentious, Approachable, Respectful, Team Oriented Accountable, Takes Ownership, Corrects Mistakes Organized, Timely, Confidential, Responsive (within 24 hours) About the Role Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support full-cycle recruiting for first-year associate hiring, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support Build and maintain relationships with target universities, student organizations, and early-career talent pipelines Coordinate candidate communications and ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process Schedule interviews and manage logistics across multiple stakeholders Provide support for lateral associate recruiting and other firm hiring initiatives Maintain accurate candidate data and reporting within the applicant tracking system Assist with recruiting operations and process improvement initiatives Collaborate with HR and recruiting team members to support firm-wide hiring goals Ensure recruiting activities are aligned with firm policies and applicable employment practices Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints with minimal supervision and exceptional attention to detail Maintain positive relationships with candidates, firm attorneys, leadership, and external partners Demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion in handling confidential information Additional duties and special projects as assigned Qualifications 1–2+ years of recruiting, HR, or talent-related experience Required Skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and strong responsiveness Ability to maintain confidentiality with a demonstrated track record of trustworthiness Professional, courteous demeanor with a positive attitude Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Preferred Skills Familiarity with applicant tracking systems preferred Experience in a professional services environment or campus recruiting preferred Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal directionCapable of managing competing priorities in a high-expectation environment Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgment What we offer you: Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision HSA and FSA plans available for employees and dependents Work-life balance Generous PTO policy 401K plan including a 3% Employer Safe Harbor contribution 1.5% Profit Sharing contribution Firm paid life insurance and long-term disability Employee Assistance Program Year-end bonuses and referral fee programs Regular firmwide socials and events Equal Opportunity Statement Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP (FMG) is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees by maintaining a workplace free of discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or any other protected status as provided by law.
