Lube Technician

Lube TechnicianSchwieters Ford of Montevideo, Inc. is seeking a motivated and skilled Lube Technician to join our team. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance services and basic repairs on customer vehicles. This is a full-time, hourly position with opportunities for growth and development within the company.This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $14 to $16 per hour, paid semi-monthly. In addition, full-time employees are eligible for company benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan.Responsibilities:Perform vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-offsInspect and test vehicle systems for proper functionalityIdentify and report any necessary repairs or maintenance to be completed by a certified technicianMaintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safe and efficient operationsCommunicate with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely completion of servicesKeep updated knowledge of company and manufacturer procedures and policiesRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalent1-2 years of experience as a lube technician or similar roleKnowledge of basic automotive mechanics and maintenanceAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail and ability to follow proceduresExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsEEOC Statement: Schwieters Ford of Montevideo, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
