Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support key accounting functions within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong general ledger experience who is interested in inventory accounting, cost analysis, and process improvement. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Perform general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Support inventory accounting, including cycle counts and variance analysis. Assist with cost accounting processes, including standard costing and manufacturing variance reviews. Prepare financial reports and assist with financial statement preparation. Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts. Partner with operations teams to analyze production costs and inventory movements. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls. Support internal and external audit activities. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. 5+ years of accounting experience. Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Salesforce, Rootstock, or similar). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Knowledge of inventory and cost accounting. Experience with standard costing and variance analysis. Ability to work with high-volume data and inventory systems. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
