Project Engineer III, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Siegfried seeks a Project Engineer III to lead capital projects and equipment implementations within a pharmaceutical CDMO manufacturing facility. The role encompasses project management from planning through commissioning, qualification, and validation in a GMP-regulated environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations and new product launches.

Responsibilities

Lead capital projects including facility expansions, utility upgrades, and equipment installations
Manage projects from concept through commissioning, qualification, validation, and operational handover
Develop project plans, budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies with cross-functional coordination
Lead FAT, SAT, and CQV activities including URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ documentation
Support new product introductions, process optimization, and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or related field
4+ years of engineering experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or regulated manufacturing
2+ years of direct commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV) experience
Proven project management experience with CAPEX projects and equipment implementation
Strong knowledge of GMP manufacturing, validation, and quality systems
Experience working in cleanroom environments

Compensation: $125,000 - $135,000 base
