Assembly TechnicianWe are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Manufacturing Assembly Technician to assemble power washers, portable generators, lawn equipment, and outdoor power products in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly, product testing, quality inspections, troubleshooting, and meeting daily production goals. Ideal candidates have experience in manufacturing, production assembly, electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, or equipment manufacturing. This is a potential to hire opportunity in Jefferson, WI.Assembly Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assemble power washers, portable generators, lawn equipment, and outdoor power products according to engineering specificationsPerform mechanical and electrical assembly using hand tools, pneumatic tools, power tools, and production equipmentInterpret blueprints, assembly drawings, schematics, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Verify materials, components, and parts prior to assembly to ensure accuracy and product qualityPerform in-process and final quality inspections throughout the manufacturing processConduct functional testing, visual inspections, and performance checks to verify product reliability and complianceIdentify defects, non-conforming materials, and assembly issues and take corrective action as neededMaintain high standards for workmanship, quality, and customer satisfactionMeet or exceed daily production goals, quality standards, and efficiency targetsFollow standardized work instructions to ensure consistency and productivityAdapt to changing production schedules and customer demandsCross-train across multiple assembly lines and manufacturing departments to support operational needsFollow OSHA regulations, manufacturing safety procedures, and PPE requirementsMaintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality proceduresParticipate in safety meetings and proactively identify workplace hazardsCollaborate with production teams to improve efficiency, quality, and workflowAssist with training and onboarding new employees on assembly processes, quality standards, and workplace safetyMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaAssembly Requirements:Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, fabrication, or industrial environments preferredExperience with mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, or electromechanical assembly highly preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructionsExperience using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring devicesStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityBasic math and measurement skillsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shiftAbility to lift, move, and position product components as requiredAbility to use hand and power tools safely for extended periodsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality standards
