Job Details Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Duration: 13 weeks Hours Per Week: 36 Start Date: August 10, 2026 Setting: 16-bed Emergency Department with 1 trauma bay and 4 fast-track beds Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 - $1,770 Location: Mount Pleasant, TX 75455 Job Requirements Current RN license in Texas or a compact state At least 1 year of experience in an emergency room, emergency department, or related nursing specialty BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) PALS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) TNCC certification Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency care setting Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality emergency nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation Care for a varied patient population, including stroke, STEMI, trauma, psychiatric, geriatric, and pediatric patients Administer medications and treatments according to protocol and monitor for effectiveness and side effects Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record Assess patient and family learning needs and provide education, resources, and support Prioritize care, manage multiple patients effectively, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team Support rapid response to urgent and emergent situations in a busy emergency department Why Join This Travel Nursing Opportunity?
