Planet Fitness - Fitness Trainer - Full Time - Goodlettsville

Location: Goodlettsville, TN 37072, United States Pay: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour We are looking for a Trainer to lead our Planet Fitness group fitness program (View email address on click.appcast.io). This role involves helping members reach their fitness goals by designing simple workout programs, providing equipment instruction, and maintaining a supportive club atmosphere. Responsibilities Familiarize members with the facility and create a welcoming environment Conduct and run the Planet Fitness View email address on click.appcast.io program, including scheduling and class execution Consult members on fitness goals, provide motivation, and support progress Instruct members on proper use of equipment and safety protocols Create bi‑weekly exercise update lists Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic Assist front desk activities: answer phones, check members in, handle sign‑ups, lead tours, and track inventory Participate in club cleaning and general equipment maintenance Respond to member questions promptly, escalating to management as needed Perform additional duties as assigned based on club needs Qualifications 18years old or older High school diploma or GED Passion for fitness and health Upbeat, positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills Punctual, reliable, and disciplined Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor Strong listening and empathetic problem‑solving Diplomatic communication and respectful language Current CPR certification Personal‑training certification from IFA, ACE, or NCSF (required) Physical Demands Continual standing, walking, bending, crouching, and reaching Continual listening and speaking in person or on the phone Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly Occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals EEO Statement Taymax Group, LP is an equal‑opportunity employer.
