Title: X-Ray Technologist (Radiologic Technologist)

Location: New York, NY

Duration: 9-Week Contract Assignment

Schedule: 5 Days/Week | 8-Hour Shifts (37.5 Hours/Week)

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The role ensures high-quality imaging, patient safety, and compliance with radiation safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as ordered

• Prepare and position patients for radiologic exams

• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment safely

• Apply radiation safety principles and shielding techniques

• Evaluate image quality and repeat imaging when necessary

• Document imaging procedures and patient records accurately

• Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

• Maintain radiology supplies and ensure proper workflow efficiency

• Follow infection control and safety protocols

• Support continuous quality improvement and training activities

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program

• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (LRT required)

• ARRT Certification required

• Strong communication and patient care skills

• Ability to work effectively in a clinical team environment

• New graduates encouraged to apply
