Logistics Coordinator1st Shift Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Payrate: $20-21ResponsibilitiesYour role will involve coordinating domestic and international shipments, ensuring they meet customer specifications and arrive on time without damage. You will also manage accurate and timely inventory receiving transactions and coordinate the daily flow of products and supplies.Shipping: Ensure accurate processing of all outgoing shipments according to customer specifications.Assure that packaging is adequate to prevent damage.Process shipment documentation, including carrier details, method, labels, and export papers.Enter shipment transactions into business systems and schedule pickups for various shipment types.Coordinate with customer service to provide shipment status and tracking information.Receiving: Receive and inspect all incoming shipments for damage and accuracy.Examine and unpack shipments, verifying contents against invoices and packing slips.Process all receiving functions in the business system and support reconciliation with purchasing and accounting.Coordinate with supply chain and department managers on overdue parts and expedite as necessary.Support the replenishment system by delivering received inventory to proper locations.Other Responsibilities: Provide backup for leading daily shipping meetings to coordinate activities with quality, operations, and inventory coordinators.Required Skills and QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, or a related field.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to lift and move heavy packages and materials.Proficiency with business systems and inventory management software.Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
