Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry at a healthcare facility located in Concord, North Carolina. This position involves providing nursing care to adult patients with medical and surgical diagnoses, including oncology, utilizing various clinical skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts from 0645 to 1915 and 1845 to 0715, with a schedule cycle of every 6 weeks, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN), BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, and at least 18 months of Med/Surg with Telemetry nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification preferred but not required.
• Float: Float rotation may be required within the region and scope of practice, including facilities in Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, and Central Division. If floating mid-shift, travelers will be paid for travel time.
• Additional Information:
  • Official orientation includes a 2-day departmental and unit-specific orientation.
  • Support staff includes CNA's who assist with activities of daily living, Phlebotomy, and other clinical tasks.
  • Support from resources such as IV/VAT team, hospitalists, and telemetry monitoring (remotely monitored in off-unit arrhythmia center).
  • Technology and equipment include IV pumps (Alaris), Omnicell medication dispensing, Phillips monitors, bladder scanner, EKG machine, and transport monitors.
  • Orientation conducted at the facility with a focus on team professionalism and clinical excellence.
