Description: CAN Community Health is now hiring a Purchasing Director Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm Friday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm Salary: $135,365 - $169,206 annually based on experience Are you passionate about patient care and ready to make a difference every day? This role is responsible for developing and executing enterprise-wide procurement strategies that optimize cost, quality, service levels, and supplier performance while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. As a senior leader, the Director partners with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align procurement strategy with organizational goals, drive operational efficiency, mitigate risk, and enhance scalability. Requirements: Education/Professional: * Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field (master's preferred). * 7-10+ years of progressive procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or vendor management experience, including strategic leadership responsibilities. * Experience developing procurement programs, policies, or governance frameworks strongly preferred. * Proven experience in: * Strategic sourcing and category management * Complex contract negotiation * Vendor relationship management * Experience in regulated environments (healthcare, government, or similar) strongly preferred. 5. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have valid insurance and driver's license.
