Additional responsibilities include supporting DESTACO's quality initiatives by performing visual, and dimensional inspections coupled with documentation reviews to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards. This position has a key role in interacting effectively with the Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Materials departments. S/he will assist in establishing work measurement standards and play an active role in ensuring quality, safety, and lean manufacturing systems and processes.Key Job Responsibilities included but not limited to:Creating Standard Work Instructions for production and safety initiatives using Sequence softwareCreating Inspection Plans for machining using High QA softwareUpdating Machining job set-up sheetsGage Inventory ManagementDevelopment of models in SolidWorks and 3D printing.Assist in immediate containment and countermeasures to suppliers (internal/external) and customer quality complaints.Conducting Gauge R&R and capability studies.Assists in new equipment integration and new process documentation.Tool and fixture design.Leadership Competencies aligned with Dover and executed in DESTACO with appropriate expectations for the job level:Strategic Mindset: Has understanding of global industry or market; creates breakthrough strategies that alter the competitive dynamics in a market, and establishes a series of competitive advantages yielding profitability that exceeds expectations for the organization.Results-Driven: Produces results that exceed Dover's strategic objectives via a combination of planning and implementation, while living the Dover Values.Builds and Manages Collaborative Relationships: Establishes and nurtures relationships.
