Schedule: Full-Time, (Monday–Friday)

Compensation: Competitive contract rate based on experience and credentials

Position Overview

• We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Paraprofessional to support students in a positive and inclusive educational environment in Johnstown, PA. If you are passionate about helping students achieve their academic, social, and behavioral goals, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students under the direction of a certified teacher.
• Assist with classroom instruction and daily learning activities.
• Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment.
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations with teachers and staff.
• Assist with classroom preparation, organization, and administrative tasks as needed.
• Encourage student independence while providing appropriate guidance and support.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required (associate degree or college coursework preferred).
• Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Must successfully complete all required background clearances and pre-employment screenings.
• Reliable Transportation (required)
