As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols at a chemical and petrochemical location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.39 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas at a chemical and petrochemical location. Monitor for unauthorized access, unusual activity, and potential hazards, and report observations through established site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response protocols. Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and promptly. Minimum Requirements: At least two years of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
