SUMMARY OF OPPORTUNITY: We are looking for an action-oriented, mission-aligned marketing professional to serve as Marketing Associate. Our work spans Arthur Brooks' social media, email, and website, along with the reporting and analytics that guide it all, and ensures his messaging is clearly articulated and widely disseminated across every channel. You will work across these channels in roughly equal measure, helping plan, execute, and measure content that reaches Dr. Brooks' audience wherever they are. This in-person position reports to the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications. THIS IS AN OFFICE-BASED POSITION IN THE WASHINGTON DC AREA. OFFICE LOCATED IN TYSONS CORNER, VA. WHAT YOU’LL DO: CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support our marketing leadership team in executing outreach and engagement with Dr. Brooks' audience across all channels — social media, email, website, and reporting and analytics. SOCIAL MEDIA Support the ongoing development of our content calendar and platform strategy to drive interest and engagement, including content ideation, production, scripting for impromptu posts, and programming across all social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok). Respond to comments and DMs, and engage followers and relevant accounts on behalf of the organization. EMAIL Manage email distribution using KIT, sending updates and campaigns to Dr. Brooks' audience on a regular cadence. Support email strategy — planning, building, and scheduling sends — and help maintain audience segments, tags, and the CRM so the right message reaches the right people. WEBSITE Help to maintain arthurbrooks.com, including publishing and updating content, troubleshooting, and other tasks as needed to support marketing efforts. Support SEO and paid media campaigns. REPORTING AND ANALYTICS Monitor and track performance across social media, email, and the website against team goals and objectives, reporting weekly and identifying growth opportunities. Utilize our publication and research repository to inform content and share data and findings across channels. BRAND Utilize, refine, and maintain the brand and communications style guide across channels, including logos, hashtags, tagging, video formats, tone of voice, and digital assets. All other duties as assigned. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of work experience in a related role. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of best practices across marketing channels, including social media platforms, email marketing, and website content. Experience with email marketing platforms (KIT a plus) and audience/CRM management. Familiarity with website management (Webflow a plus) and web analytics (Google Analytics). Comfort working with data and reporting to track performance and inform decisions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and Zoom is essential. Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, and other content and social media management tools. Graphic design and/or photo and video editing experience is a plus! Notion, KIT, HubSpot, and Webflow experience a plus. EDUCATION: The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and brings interest and ideally some experience in supporting a public-facing individual and a high-performing, entrepreneurial team.
