Program Support Assistant (OA) - Work Order Technician

Duties

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Performs computer operations with skill and knowledge and executes, stores and retrieves documents from different systems.
• Functions independently once tasks have been assigned. Prioritizes, organizes and collects data for filing.
• Uses Microsoft Outlook extensively for communicating with contractors, colleagues and other VA Staff.
• Maintains adequate records for purchasing using credit card and the associated 2237's, adhere to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and provide budget updates to immediate supervisor when requested.
• Prioritize and assign work orders to the appropriate Engineering Shops through the current work order system.
• Maintains records for timekeeping, overtime/compensatory time, posts time daily and completes necessary corrections to time cards.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 0730-1600. Subject to change based on needs of the facility.
