Operations Supervisor

WasteConnections has an immediate opening for an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Oak Ridge TN .

Our Operations Supervisor will work directly with the Operations Manager to formulate both short-term and long-term goals and action plans for the hauling company. We seek individuals with a leadership mentality and desire to grow with promotional opportunities in this role.

Schedule: 4:30am or 6:00am start time averaging approximately 10-11 hours/day.

Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assign and supervise work crews operating solid waste collection equipment.

• Monitor progress of daily operations reassign employees and make staffing changes as necessary.

• Helps develop track and execute safety goals.

• Conducts field inspections and audits of all site personnel to ensure proper work procedures.

• Receives and reviews customer complaints regarding collection programs.

• Oversees a variety of complex compliance programs including environmental OSHA and local permitting.

Requirements:

• Willing and able to obtain Class A or B CDL.

• Must be able to relocate for promotional opportunities based on performance.

• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

• Ability to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly.
