LOCATION: This position is on-site, office-based in Atlanta, GA (hybrid model - 3 days remote / 2 days in office- Tuesday & Wednesday) About the Role Under the supervision of theSr Philanthropy Officer,theManager ofIndividual Philanthropy and Stewardship,has the responsibilityfor leading the Employee Giving Campaign,developingthe mid-level giving program, andexecutingdonor stewardship and engagementactivities to maximizeindividualphilanthropic contributions.This position supports the Individual Giving team in coordinating logistics for salon and curated events, providing administrative and operational support to advance team priorities and ensure seamless day-to-day execution, oversee the fulfillment of Giving Society materials, andtoensurethat donors receive exceptional stewardship that deepens their connection to BGCA's mission. This is unique opportunitytobuild on thestrong foundationofthe Employee Giving Campaign(EGC) by launching a new peer-to-peercomponentandleveragingthe EGCmodel in close collaboration withourCorporateteam tostandup internalP2Pemployeecampaignsthatcomplement corporate contributions.The Managerwillidentify, cultivate,solicit,and stewardaportfolio ofmid-leveldonorstodeepen donor engagement with the movement, upgrade donors, and contribute to growing themajor gifts pipeline.This positionwillconduct prospect research, conduct data hygiene and database administration, and collaborate across lines of business to bring innovative projects toscale. The ideal candidate willresidewithin driving distance of the Atlanta headquarters andwork on-site two days per week.Thisperson will thrive in a dynamic work environment that requires flexibility and initiative on how tasks areapproached andprioritized, embracingthechallenges of an ever-changing fundraisinglandscapeand the needs of a growing philanthropic effort Responsibilities What You'll Do: EMPLOYEE GIVING CAMPAIGN Manage the Employee GivingCampaign(EGC),and in collaboration with the Senior PhilanthropyOfficer,lead the design, launch, and management of a newpeer-to-peercomponentto increase revenue andemployeeengagement. Implement gamification strategies such as leaderboards, fundraising thermometers, and reward/recognition programs to drive participation and friendly competition. Develop campaign strategy, goals, timeline, and promotional plan for peer-to-peer participation. Research and recommendappropriate peer-to-peerfundraisingplatformsand technology solutions. Track campaign performance metrics, analyze results – adjust plans along theway asappropriate, and provide regular progress updates to leadership. Recruit, train, and support employee fundraising ambassadors, providing tools, templates, and resources for success. Inclosecollaboration withCorporate andMarketingteams, create engagingcorporate employee giving and peer-to-peerfundraisingcampaign materials including fundraising page templates, social media graphics, email templates, and storytelling guides. MID-LEVELDONOR FUNDRAISING Activelyidentifyand manage new leads and manage a mid-level donor portfolio, conducting regular touchpoints to deepen donor relationships,identifyupgrade opportunities, and meet annual revenue goals. Adhere to weekly and monthly goals to execute meaningful contacts with donors in the portfolio, includingpersonal visits, phone calls, emails, and personal notes. DONORSTEWARDSHIP& ENGAGEMENT Develop and implement comprehensive stewardship strategies for individual donors across all giving levels, ensuringtimelyand meaningful touchpoints throughout the donor journey and recording mass outreach activities into the donor database. In close partnership with Senior Philanthropy Officer, develop andmaintaina stewardship communications calendar to ensure consistent touchpoints throughout the year–leveragingcommunicationoutputsfrom across the organization, coordinating with otherLOB’s,andmaking the calendar shareable to other teams. Partner with the Director of Pipeline Management tooperationalize stewardship materials and assets. Partner with Marketing and RD Communications to ensure donor-facing materials reflect compelling storytelling and mission impact. Supportdonorstewardship andrecognition – including the fulfillment of Giving Society materials, personalized impact reports, thank you communications, anniversary acknowledgments, and milestone recognition. Monitor donor engagement metrics and provide recommendations for improving retention rates and donor lifetime value. Provide general administrative support to the Individual Giving team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and execution of stewardship activities. OPERATIONS& DATA MANAGEMENT/REPORTING Provide fundraising databasehygienemanagement on behalf of theIndividual Givingteam, includingthe submission of casesfor portfolio reassignment andensuringall operational policies are followed. Be a resource to the Individual Giving team onoptimizingdatabaseutilizationand application of best practices,identifyingareas of improvement in database processesand donor relations. Provide standard operating procedures for daily use ofdatabase, anditsapplication to support integrated, donor centric fundraising activities. Generate reports on stewardship activities,KPI’s,donor engagement metrics, event participation, and campaign performance. Interface with acknowledgement, writing and executive scheduling request processes and those teams to support donor/funder relationships on behalf of the individual Giving team. Conduct prospect research toidentifydonor upgrade opportunities and segment audiences for targeted communications. SPECIAL EVENT SUPPORT & LOGISTICS Provide comprehensive logistical support for donor cultivation and stewardship events, including site visits, salon events, and other donor gatherings. Createspecialevent materials such as programs, name tags, signage, and presentation content. Manage day-of-eventlogistics, including setup, registration, volunteer coordination, and troubleshooting. Leadpost-event follow-up includingteam debrief,thankyoucommunications,and data capture. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES Assistin creating,editing,formatting, andsubmittingproposals, stewardship reports, andrequestletters. Provide general administrative support–asneeded to theSenior Philanthropy Officer,includingpreparing documentsandpresentations, and reports. Work as a productive member of the Resource Development team and with other departments of the national BGCA staff. Work collaboratively withDirectors of Philanthropy,Regional Development Officers, and otherResource Development team members to support integrated fundraising strategies. Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and professional development opportunities. Track and ensureappropriate classificationof BGCA’s Combined Federal Campaign – federal employee charitable giving program. Demonstrate BGCA mission driven I*CAREvalues andintegrate these beliefs into our environment and ways ofworking. Adhere to organizational policies and procedures as described in BGCA’sEmployee Handbook,Ethics Policyand elsewhere. SUPERVISION EXERCISED No direct Reports.Will work in close collaboration with theNational Vice President, Development, Senior PhilanthropyOfficer,Directors of Philanthropy,and RDO’s.Maymonitorand coordinate the work ofadministrative staff,temporaryemployeesand student interns Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in a related disciplineor education/experience equivalency. Minimumof 2yearsdemonstratedsuccessful experienceinnonprofitfundraising. Experiencewith fundraising databases, preferably NPSP,isa must. SKILLS ANDCOMPETENCIES Strong analytical skills withthe abilityto interpret data,identifytrends, and make data-driven recommendations. Demonstratedexpertisewithfundraising tools and technologies. Demonstratedrelationship buildingskillsand customer service orientation;excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; knowledge of successfulindividual givingfundraising practices; intermediate Microsoft Word,), research and spreadsheet skills. Exceptional project management skills withthe abilityto manage multiple priorities simultaneously whilemaintainingattention to detail and meeting deadlines. Creative problem-solving abilities and willingness to develop innovative approaches to donor engagement. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. ENVIRONMENTAL & WORKING CONDITIONS Based at BGCA Atlanta headquarters witha hybrid work environmentofferingflexibility for remote work and in-office collaboration. Some travel may berequiredfor events, site visits, or training opportunities (estimated at 5-10%). Occasional evening and weekend workrequiredfor donor events and campaign activities. Compensation The salary range for this role is $84,000 to $94,000. BGCA takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training and experience, as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
