Department Information This role supports both the on-campus and online Master\'s in Analytics (MSA) students at Georgia Tech. The MSA Program is a hybrid data science and analytics degree offered interdisciplinarily through GT\'s Colleges of Computing, Business and Engineering. This business development role is responsible for sourcing and building effective recruiting relationships with new and existing corporate, non-profit and start-up partners leading to job opportunities for our online and on-campus MSA students. The role also oversees onboarding and management of our 6,000+ online MSA students on our career portal/CRM, housed on the 12Twenty platform. Job Summary Provide support to students in preparing for, identifying and pursuing corporate job opportunities. Establish and maintain relations with corporate representatives, other Institute units and alumni for purposes of promoting student recruiting and placement opportunities in internships, co-op positions and regular employment. This position will interact on a consistent basis with corporate executives and recruiters, hiring managers, students, alumni, staff and faculty. This position typically will advise and counsel students, corporate recruiters and hiring managers. This position will supervise: NA. Responsibilities Establish and maintain relationships with representatives of prospective corporate employers in order to promote recruiting of Institute students. Advise students on career search activities to include job search strategy and company targeting, resume preparation, interview techniques and practice and interactive one-on-one coaching sessions. Collaborate with other GT organizations and individuals such as alumni, faculty and development representatives to promote job networking and mentoring opportunities. Plan and coordinate holding of job fairs and other promotional events aimed at student placement in corporate positions. Maintain databases utilized in promotional and placement efforts. Perform other duties as assigned. Educational Requirements and Qualifications Educational Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Experience Four to five years of job related experience Preferred Qualifications Experience in career counseling or advising, particularly in a university setting Knowledge of employer relations and campus recruiting practices Strong communication and presentation skills for workshops and seminars Networking and relationship-building skills with students, employers, and alumni Understanding of labor market trends and industry hiring practices Experience with career management platforms (e.g., 1220, Handshake, Symplicity) Coaching certifications or training in career counseling or professional development Data analysis and reporting skills to track student outcomes Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities This job requires skills in effectively interacting with corporate executives, alumni, faculty and staff for the purpose of promoting the recruitment of Institute students. Skills in career advising and counseling are required as are skills in relationship building, sales/marketing, communications and presentation.
