Surgery - Neurosurgery Physician Assistant

A leading surgical services group in San Antonio, TX is adding a physician assistant (PA-C) to first assist on neuro spine and orthopedic spine cases. Surgery only: no clinic, no rounding, no orders, no call and no weekends, on a Monday to Friday schedule.

• What this job is: First assist duties only, on neuro spine and orthopedic spine cases. No orders, no clinic, no rounding.
  

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 30-35 hours per week, with no call and no weekend coverage. A one or two case day is normal, and those days frequently finish before 2pm.

• Pay: Guaranteed salary $135,000 to $150,000/yr depending on experience, with a $1,000 - $2,000 quarterly bonus on top.

• What you need: A minimum of one year first assisting in spine or neurosurgery.

• Benefits: PTO, 401k with match, CME stipend and healthcare plans, Malpractice with tail coverage, plus a relocation stipend and sign-on bonus.
