Job Overview We are seeking a passionate Salesperson who excels in fashion styling and customer relationship building, both in-store and digitally. The ideal candidate will meet sales goals, support the team, and provide an exceptional shopping experience for Nordstrom customers. Responsibilities Set and achieve sales targets for in‑store and online sales using text and social media selling tools. Build lasting customer relationships and provide honest style and fit guidance. Assist customers with best service on their terms and actively seek fashion and product knowledge. Maintain the appearance of the department: fill orders, stock, redeploy merchandise, adjust prices, and perform light cleaning. Open and manage Nordstrom Rewards program accounts for new shoppers. Collaborate with teammates to keep the department ready for customers and support other departments when needed. Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and results driven. Strong interest in networking and technology to accelerate sales. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Capacity to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Flexible schedule availability based on business needs. Physical Requirements Continuous movement for 6‑8 hours per shift including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. Frequent use of hands for grasping, manipulation, pushing, and pulling. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Pay Range Pay varies by location, role, and performance. Commission rates for sales positions range from 3% to 14.5% for apparel, shoes, and accessories.
