Payroll Manager

Cherry Bekaert is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and manage full-cycle payroll operations for approximately 200 employees . This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a hands-on, manual payroll environment and is comfortable ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all payroll processes. Key Responsibilities Process and manage end-to-end payroll for 200 employees Oversee and maintain timekeeping systems and ensure accurate data entry Prepare and analyze payroll reports for internal and compliance purposes Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Handle payroll tax filings , reconciliations, and issue resolution Maintain accurate payroll records and support audits as needed Collaborate with HR and Accounting teams on payroll-related matters Qualifications Proven experience managing payroll for mid-sized employee populations (~200 employees) Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, reporting, and compliance requirements Ability to work effectively in a more manual payroll environment (not fully automated) High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities Experience in the construction industry a plus Bilingual in Spanish a plus Work Environment & Benefits Full-time, 5 days/week on-site role Free parking available Collaborative and team-oriented workplace IND4 #J-18808-Ljbffr HRB
