Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical / Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on hospital policies and procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Manage and monitor cardiac drips and respond to rapid response/code teams when needed.
• Chart patient information and care accurately using EPIC charting system.
• Float to various units including medical surgical and telemetry to meet facility staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the time of submission).
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a large, urban hospital setting.
• Familiarity with managing drips such as Nitro, Heparin, and Insulin.
• Proficient in EPIC charting system; first-timers only considered with 2 years' experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center.
• 100% nicotine-free compliance required; must adhere to facility's nicotine-free policy.
