Director, Paid Social

Job Overview Director leads day-to-day management of the paid social end for a dedicated client. The successful candidate will have at least 7 years of digital media experience and be a data-driven and thoughtful decision maker who fosters an environment of welcomed creativity and learning for their team. The Director will be the main point of contact for the client and serve as a strategic team leader. Our social team works across a diverse range of sectors on some of the largest and most dynamic clients within the agency. We are looking for an enthusiastic leader and paid social expert who is keen to immerse themselves in a number of projects. Role Objectives Motivate and manage a paid social media team in the creation, development, and execution of campaigns to meet/exceed expectations within budget and time parameters Design strategies for leveraging paid media on social networks including but not limited to Facebook & Twitter to deliver against brand objectives Foster strong relationships with internal teams and client groups Develop action plans for achieving and measuring social media success, including setting key metrics, measurement and optimization strategies Advocate the value of social media and help educate clients, partners and internal teams on the latest developments and capabilities in this quickly evolving media channel Apply social media knowledge and creativity to brainstorming and strategy sessions Provide team direction for improving campaign performance through optimization and/or implementing new features and strategies Deliver presentations to both clients and internal teams showcasing campaign strategy and performance results Develop points of view on new technologies, trends and opportunities in the social media marketplace Minimum Qualifications 7+ years of experience in digital media and marketing with increasing levels of responsibility within an agency or media company, including client-facing responsibilities 3+ years of team management experience Minimum of 3+ years working with Facebook & Twitter ads platforms with hands‑on experience managing and optimizing buys through API and/or self‑serve tools Experience in applying social marketing to drive strict KPIs against brand‑building & direct response initiatives Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret campaign performance data and provide insights and optimization recommendations Understanding of best practices for leveraging social media for brand communication Must possess strong leadership skills and be comfortable presenting ideas to senior client management Comprehensive knowledge of best practices for managing and optimizing API/self‑serve buys on Facebook and Twitter Excellent relationship building, diplomacy, and decision making skills with the ability to think creatively Benefits Publicis Groupe provides robust and inclusive benefit programs and policies to support the evolving and diverse needs of our talent and enable every person to grow and thrive. Compensation Compensation Range: $$121,315.00 - $194,220.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
