This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is deeply curious about how things work, and enjoys solving complex problems across people, process, and data. You'll work closely with HR Business Partners, Corporate Business Operations, and business leaders to deliver initiatives that drive efficiency, consistency, and impact across the organization. We’re looking for someone with a strong HR foundation who can think strategically, execute precisely, and partner effectively across a wide range of stakeholders.RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the design and execution of HR projects and initiatives across functions, geographies, and teamsPartner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to understand challenges and identify opportunities to improve tools, processes, and programs. Support and collaborate with HR Business Partners on projects/initiatives they are leadingDrive projects from planning through implementation—scoping goals, building timelines, identifying key milestones, and managing communicationsUse data to define success metrics, monitor project progress, and inform recommendationsCollaborate with the HR Data team to surface and analyze trends that inform decision-makingHelp develop and implement solutions that make HR processes more scalable, consistent, and aligned with company prioritiesSupport organizational change efforts, including restructuring, realignments, and other transformation workEnsure projects align with company culture, business strategy, and compliance expectationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience in HR or program management6+ years of experience managing or leading cross-functional projects involving HR systems, processes, or policy implementation (including, but not limited to, core HR initiatives such as performance management, onboarding, HR compliance)PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneouslyStrong collaboration and influencing skills across all levels of the business, including senior leadershipExperience using HRIS systems and people data to inform project decisions (e.g., Workday, Tableau, Excel)Track record of improving HR programs or processes that supported business growth or transformationStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topicsComfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a dynamic environmentHigh attention to detail, organization, and follow-throughTraining or certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, SQL, Power Automate)ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Willing to travel up to 10%, based on project needsAble to work extended hours or weekends when requiredMust be able to pass an Air Force background check for Cape CanaveralThis is a full-time onsite role based in Palo Alto, CA. Remote work will not be consideredCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Pay Range: Level 3: $145,000.00 - $215,000.00Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
