Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk for a local pre-sort/mail-processing facility in Stockton. This role supports daily billing, payment posting, and customer account management in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

?? Position Summary

The AR Clerk will handle invoice processing , payment posting , aging report management , and customer follow-up . This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate billing and maintaining strong customer relationships.

?? Key Responsibilities

Prepare and issue invoices based on daily operational activity
Post payments (checks, ACH, credit card) and reconcile customer accounts
Monitor AR aging reports and follow up on past-due balances
Communicate with customers regarding outstanding invoices or discrepancies
Research and resolve billing issues, rate discrepancies, and documentation gaps
Maintain accurate electronic records and support internal audits
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure billing accuracy
Assist with weekly and monthly AR reporting

?? Qualifications

1-2 years of AR, billing, or accounting support experience
QuickBooks proficiency is required
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Experience in logistics, distribution, or mail-processing is a plus

Full-time, Monday-Friday
Pay rate: Based on experience
