Tax Manager

LHH is assisting in the search for a Manager of Tax Accounting for a global manufacturer located near Alpharetta, GA. This is a direct hire, hybrid opportunity offering a competitive compensation and benefits package.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting ; CPA strongly preferred .
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax departments.
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and experience with OneSource Tax Provision and ERP systems.
- Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
- Advanced Excel proficiency to include vlookup, pivot tables, macros is a huge plus!
Responsibilities:
- Preparing the global tax provision under ASC 740 , including coordination of non-US data, FIN 48 analysis, and financial statement disclosures.
- Supporting tax compliance , forecasting , and planning initiatives .
- Partnering with internal teams and external auditors.
- Monitoring legislative and regulatory changes and updating systems accordingly.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements.
