General Manager

The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and profitability of the company's U.S. business. This executive will have full P&L responsibility and provide strategic and operational leadership across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, engineering, customer service, sales support, and administrative functions. The General Manager will drive revenue growth, operational excellence, profitability, customer satisfaction, and organizational development while ensuring the business achieves its strategic objectives. This individual will serve as the senior leader of the U.S. organization and work closely with executive leadership to develop and execute long-term growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities Business Leadership & Strategy Lead the overall performance and strategic direction of the U.S. business. Develop and execute business plans that drive sustainable growth, profitability, and market expansion. Establish annual operating plans, budgets, and performance objectives aligned with company goals. Identify opportunities for operational improvements, new market penetration, and business expansion. Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement long-term strategic initiatives. P&L Ownership Assume full responsibility for the U.S. business profit and loss statement. Drive revenue growth while managing costs, margins, working capital, and cash flow. Monitor key financial metrics and implement corrective actions to ensure achievement of financial targets. Develop forecasting processes and provide regular business performance updates to senior leadership. Identify and execute initiatives that improve profitability and increase enterprise value. Manufacturing & Operations Leadership Lead all manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives are achieved. Establish a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. Drive lean manufacturing, process optimization, and efficiency initiatives. Ensure adequate capacity planning, resource allocation, and production scheduling. Maintain high standards for quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Leadership & Organizational Development Build, develop, and lead a high-performing leadership team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Drive talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives. Ensure organizational structure and capabilities support future growth objectives. Serve as a visible leader who promotes company values and culture throughout the organization. Maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners. Partner with commercial leadership to support revenue growth and customer retention initiatives. Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities. Ensure the organization consistently delivers exceptional customer service and product quality. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within manufacturing environments. Proven experience leading multi-functional operations with full P&L responsibility. Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, quality systems, and operational excellence methodologies. Demonstrated success driving revenue growth, operational improvements, and profitability. Experience leading and developing management teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
