We have an immediate opening for a Laser Operator on 2nd shift and 3rd shift at our Huber Heights Ohio facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate multi-axis Trumpf Lasers Perform typical laser cutting and programing operations Select proper cutting programs and proper fixtures Read and interpret blueprints, process sketches, and understand measuring instruments Edit programs to accomplish offset and part nesting. Maintain inspection equipment and all support equipment necessary to complete jobs on Laser. Perform all daily, weekly and monthly maintenance as required. Create and compile necessary documents to aid setting up laser machine Use precision instruments to check tolerances and quality of parts Other duties, as assigned, or as business needs require Shift hours are as follows; 2nd shift - Monday-Friday2:40pm to 11:10pm 3rd shift - Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm to 6:30am Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred 3+ year’s laser machining/setup experience on a multi axis laser Ability to read and interpret prints Additional Information All applicants must successfully complete and pass a background check and drug screening.
