CNC Programmer

We are seeking an experienced Gantry Programmer with expertise in Siemens 840D sl CNC systems , PLC-CNC integration , and machine safety programming . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimizing gantry-based CNC machines, ensuring reliable machine performance, safety compliance, and efficient operation.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, commission, and troubleshoot Siemens 840D sl CNC systems .
- Develop and modify HMI Pro/HMI Advanced screens based on project requirements.
- Support and troubleshoot CNC part programs, including SPF/MPF structures, tool data, and offsets .
- Configure and maintain NC-PLC data exchange , interface signals, DBs, M-functions, status bits, and handshake logic .
- Set, validate, and optimize CNC machine parameters, including soft limits and referencing procedures .
- Configure and troubleshoot Soft CAM, Safe CAM, and Normal CAM functions.
- Modify and support Safety Integrated programs and safe operating functions.
- Configure and troubleshoot PROFINET networking and PN/PN Coupler communications.
- Support gantry kinematics , synchronization, dual-drive axis systems, and axis alignment during commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with machine safety standards and project specifications.
- Strong knowledge of Siemens 840D sl architecture .
- Experience with HMI Advanced and HMI Pro .
- Proficiency in NC-PLC communication and data exchange.
- Experience integrating SINAMICS drives .
- Knowledge of Safety Integrated , Safe CAM , and Safe Position Monitoring .
- Hands-on experience with PROFINET , PN/PN Coupler setup , and industrial networking.
- Expertise in gantry synchronization , dual-drive axis systems , commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving and technical diagnostic skills.
- Travel Needed
