Critical Care Registered Nurse - ICU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 12-hour nights, weekends as scheduled.

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. The position requires excellent clinical skills and the ability to manage complex patient care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to critical care patients with various diagnoses including Sepsis, PNA, COVID, CHF, COPD, DKA, renal failure, and others.
• Manage and titrate critical care drips within ordered parameters.
• Perform intensive monitoring and care for patients requiring complex interventions such as CRRT, IABP, and ventilator management.
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management.
• Conduct patient assessments and document care provided using the EPIC system.
• Assist in the care and removal of central lines, as well as other critical care procedures.
• Participate in call rotations and may float to stepdown or MedSurg units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of critical care nursing experience; prior travel experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Competency with CRRT, IABP, ventilators, and vasoactive medications is required.
