Purchasing & Job Processing Coordinator - CNC Manufacturing We are seeking an organized and dependable Purchasing & Job Processing Coordinator to support our CNC manufacturing operations. This position works closely with Purchasing, Production, Quality, Shipping, Accounting, and outside-processing vendors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, follows up consistently, and is comfortable managing multiple jobs and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Process customer purchase orders and accurately enter job information into JobBOSS / JobBOSS² . Create and issue purchase orders to suppliers and outside-processing vendors. Coordinate parts sent to outside vendors for anodizing, plating, heat treatment, passivate, grinding, painting, and other processes . Follow up with vendors regarding pricing, order status, certifications, and delivery dates . Assist with purchasing raw materials, tooling, hardware, and production supplies . Maintain material certifications, material traceability records, and outside-processing certifications . Verify that all required certifications and documentation are received before jobs are completed or shipped. Update job status, purchasing information, and outside-processing activities in JobBOSS . Assist Accounting with job reports, purchase order records, vendor invoices, and job-cost information . Communicate delays, missing certifications, pricing discrepancies, and vendor issues to management. Maintain organized electronic and physical records. Perform general office and administrative duties as needed. Qualifications Required: Ability to speak, read, and write English effectively for vendor communication, customer requirements, and manufacturing documentation. Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills are essential. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required. Preferred: Experience in purchasing, manufacturing administration, order processing, or CNC machine-shop operations. Experience with JobBOSS or JobBOSS² is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with material certifications, traceability, and outside-processing documentation is a plus.
