Mechanical Technician II

Job Title5 days a week Onsite, Sunnyvale CA Associates or Bachelors preferred; not required if equivalent shop experience demonstrated 1-2 years minimum, 3-5 preferenceResponsibilities:Efficiently program parts using templated CAM programs in Fusion 360Load and unload materials, check machine status, and launch jobs at regular intervals to ensure delivery commitments are made.Remove finished parts from machines, clean and post-process as required, being careful to protect or highlight key features.Make updates in task management platform to keep requesters apprised of job status.Using existing SOPs, maintain equipment and ensure all tools and materials needed are on hand to ensure continuous production.Must to have skills:Experience with CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360 or equivalent)2 CNC machine operation -- hobby or commercial grade3 Ability to read and interpret 2D/3D digital design filesNice-to-have Skills:Experience in a prototyping shop environmentPost-processing skills (deburring, sanding, abrasive blasting)SolidWorks, Mastercam, or Rhino familiarity
