Material Coordinator

Material CoordinatorWe are seeking a Material Coordinator to effectively process accurate and timely inventory transactions and perform material handling duties. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; however, you must be flexible if needed.Job ResponsibilitiesConfirm recorded quantities by physically counting items and closing production work orders to update on-hand inventory in Business SystemsProcess Inventory Transfers as items are accepted/rejected and moved to and from various departments to maintain accurate and timely inventory location recordsCoordinate the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between work cells and departments according to replenishment signals, production and shipping schedules, or department prioritiesProcess scrap reporting transactions and assist in the Cycle Count process to maintain inventory accuracy and controlReceive finished goods inventory from Final Inspection and ensures materials are placed in their proper locations with proper identification / WIP tagsRotate inventory, magnets, and bins as required while maintaining material lot controlMaintain required MRO items and shipping supplies for assigned work area, initiating re-order signals for replenishmentPerform cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy as the material are stored in binsSafeguard material during transportation and storage, ensuring clean and free of damageOperates pallet jack and/or forklift to unload, transport and load parMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and observe all safety rules and proceduresPerform all other duties as assigned
