Amergis Staffing is currently seeking both TRAVEL and Local experienced LPN Psych nurses in Kinston, NC!

Shifts available:

1. 6a-6:30p, 36/48 EOW, with rotation of 9a-9:30p as needed but shouldn't need to do it often

Contract Length: 16 wks

Number of Openings: 7

Start Date: 8/3 or 8/17

Important Info: You must have lived within the state of NC for the last 5yrs in order to be submitted for this position due to fingerprints

Facility Info:

Caswell provides services and support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, complex behavioral challenges, and/or medical conditions whose clinical treatment needs exceed the support currently available in the community.

Orientation:

2-4 weeks and will be during the week only on days no weekends

The Psychiatric or Mental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unit of a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsible for care in community settings.

The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current LPN license in state of assignment
• 1 year experience in a psychiatric care setting preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
