Med Fit Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient clinic in Alexandria, Virginia. Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our Alexandria outpatient clinic, where you will work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Our clinic features modern amenities designed for optimal patient comfort, including private treatment rooms, rehabilitation areas, and cutting-edge therapeutic equipment. You will work directly with a variety of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists, fostering an environment of teamwork and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized physical therapy services, adapting treatment regimens to meet each patient's specific goals and conditions.
• Manage a balanced patient caseload, ensuring thorough attention and care to enhance recovery processes.
• Implement evidence-based, non-surgical treatment modalities to improve mobility and balance, while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Create detailed patient assessment reports and develop comprehensive, individualized care plans.
• Conduct regular evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Incorporate various exercise and manual therapy techniques tailored to specific rehabilitation needs.
• Foster a supportive environment that motivates and empowers patients throughout their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient treatments and progress, utilizing EMR software such as Web PT for accurate record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a Physical Therapist at Med Fit Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse group of patients, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical patients, and individuals dealing with chronic pain or mobility issues. Our goal is to empower each patient to achieve their fullest potential through tailored rehabilitation programs that focus on improvement, strength, and resilience.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A current, active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques.
• Exceptional skills in designing and implementing effective exercise programs tailored to specific patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for comprehensive documentation and patient management.
• Firm understanding of contemporary physical therapy best practices supported by the latest research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is highly desirable.
• Specialization in orthopedic or sports rehabilitation would be an asset to our team.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
