You will partner with software, systems, and hardware engineering teams to validate new functionality, execute integration testing, maintain test environments, investigate technical issues, and support product releases.This position offers valuable hands-on experience with:Embedded systemsAerospace and avionics technologiesLarge-scale software platformsHardware/software integrationSystem validation and troubleshootingKey ResponsibilitiesSystem Integration & TestingPerform hardware and software integration of new and existing systems, functions, and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs).Execute integration and verification testing to validate system and component functionality.Configure and maintain test rack environments to support installations and testing activities.Support software release verification and regression testing efforts.Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and validation activities.Document testing activities, results, defects, and findings accurately and thoroughly.Troubleshooting & Root Cause AnalysisInvestigate, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues identified during integration and testing.Serve as a key contributor to system-level troubleshooting efforts.Analyze system anomalies and collaborate with development teams to identify root causes and corrective actions.Support technical investigations across multiple engineering disciplines.Engineering CollaborationWork closely with software developers, systems engineers, and hardware engineers throughout the product lifecycle.Participate in design reviews and system functionality evaluations.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to testing processes, tools, and documentation.Communicate technical findings through reports, presentations, and team discussions.Required QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines:Computer ScienceComputer EngineeringElectrical EngineeringSoftware EngineeringRelated technical fieldEquivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will also be considered.Experience0-3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:Software EngineeringSystems EngineeringSoftware TestingHardware TestingSystems IntegrationInternship or co-op experience in testing, validation, or development environments is highly valued.Technical SkillsFoundational experience in software development, testing, or systems integration.Familiarity with Unix and Linux operating systems.Basic Linux system administration and command-line experience preferred.Experience creating and executing test procedures.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.Communication SkillsStrong verbal and written communication abilities.Ability to clearly document test results, investigations, and technical findings.Effective collaboration skills within cross-functional engineering teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience in aerospace, avionics, embedded systems, or in-flight entertainment (IFE) environments.Exposure to hardware/software integration laboratories or test environments.Familiarity with automated testing tools and methodologies.Basic understanding of networking, embedded systems, or aircraft systems.Experience supporting complex, mission-critical technology platforms.Why Join?Work on innovative aerospace and aviation technologies.Gain hands-on experience with advanced embedded and integrated systems.Collaborate with highly skilled engineering teams.Contribute to products deployed on commercial aircraft around the world.Grow your career in a dynamic, technology-driven environment with opportunities for professional development.
