We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical and adaptable Purchasing & Sourcing Senior Analyst to support internal and external stakeholders through accurate reporting, effective procurement strategies and cross-functional collaboration. The role is critical in ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of products while maintaining strong communication with both our parent company overseas as well as domestic vendors. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who excels at working both independently and within a team, can prioritize in urgent situations and continuously seeks to improve efficiency in purchasing operations.

Responsibilities include communicating with purchasing team and product management teams to identify and prioritize items in need of procurement/sourcing, striving to understand the market and conducting market research when necessary, establishing materials and purchasing plans and carrying out purchasing work through affiliates and non-affiliates, procuring and managing supporting materials purchased through affiliates and non-affiliates, creating business reports that provide insight into key data points after analysis and collection, synthesizing internal and external information sources to identify behavioral patterns and strategies and develop recommendations and actionable insights, communicating data analysis results to managers in written and verbal form and providing suggestions based on results, key reporting on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis, developing annual sales plans by analyzing market trends, competitor activities and economic factors, analyzing metrics and designing reports to help the company make important business decisions, providing competitive analysis of market offerings from various companies and identifying market trends, pricing/business models, sales and operating methods, communicating, liaising and collaborating with the parent company located in Korea and developing plans to refine strategies and analyze business proposals, understanding the new product development process and effectively improving internal communication within the project, fulfilling special project requests from the CEO, internal/external executives, and other departments, assisting and supporting internal and external team members, management and customers, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the industry, related industries, markets, products, competitors, customers, etc., building effective working relationships with team members and outside vendors, utilizing inventory planning and forecasting to determine optimal stock level projections, identifying specific items that pose potential urgency and communicating with vendors and internal teams to expedite shipments, collaborating with other departments to provide usage and stock projection reports to project future inventory needs.

Qualifications include 5-7 years of experience in purchasing/sourcing, analytical techniques that enable the development of data-driven reports, intermediate proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, ability to solve problems and provide analysis, ability and willingness to learn and maintain technical product information and sales procedures, strong customer service and communication skills to effectively connect data with colleagues and outside vendors, works overtime as needed and as requested to complete job duties, bilingual in Korean/English.

Preferred Qualifications include native proficiency in Korean, bachelor's degree or related degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field, experience with CRM and SAP Resource Management programs, familiarity with water heater/boiler/HVAC field a plus.
