If you enjoy fixing things, staying busy, and being the person everyone counts on when production is on the line, this job is built for you.Schedule: 2nd shift Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM Shift Premium: 11.5% on all hours workedWhat You'll Be DoingRepairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining mills, lathes, grinders, and other shop equipmentPerforming routine and preventive maintenance to keep machines running at their bestDiagnosing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues and knocking out solutionsSupporting night-shift production and keeping downtime to a minimumKeeping accurate maintenance records and reporting machine statusWorking with production and engineering teams to boost reliability and efficiencyBringing a positive attitude and strong work ethic to a fast-moving manufacturing environmentWhat You BringSolid experience working on machine tools (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.)Strong mechanical instincts — you can hear when something's not rightElectrical troubleshooting skills for wiring and component issuesPneumatic system experienceA track record of performing preventive maintenanceWillingness to work the night shift scheduleSharp problem-solving skills and attention to detailA team-first mindset with the ability to work independently when neededPhysical RequirementsGenerally, 95% of the normal work shift requires standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while running production, inspecting work and machines and checking procedures. Job requires moving of material and parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Lifting devices should be used when possible. Parts must be lifted, pulled, pushed, and held in place, sometimes without benefit of material handling devices due to limited space and confined areas in and around machines.Safety-Sensitive Designation:Jobs which involve one or more tasks or duties that could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others are considered safety-sensitive.
