Building Automation Service Technician

Job Description Job Description Entech Sales and Service as a Building Automation Service Technician. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for the installation, programming, and troubleshooting of cutting-edge building automation systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems, lighting controls, and energy management solutions, contributing to improved energy efficiency and user comfort.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Configuration: Install and configure building automation systems, including sensors, controllers, and software applications to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Conduct in-depth diagnostics and troubleshooting of building automation systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions, minimizing downtime.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to interpret system designs and execute installation plans, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
Client Training & Support: Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to clients on system usage, maintenance, and optimization strategies to enhance system performance.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, service activities, and technical reports to ensure transparency and facilitate future troubleshooting.
Qualifications
Education: Associate’s degree in Electronics, HVAC, Building Automation, or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in building automation systems, HVAC controls, or related fields.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages and protocols used in building automation (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, LON).
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with keen attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
