Must-Have: Spine and total joint experience

Description: Schedule includes 3 shifts of 12 hours. On-call for 30 minutes response time. Call generally includes 3 weekdays and 2-3 weekend days in a 6-week pay period. Weekends required, may exceed every other weekend based on unit needs. Types of cases required include General, Orthopedic, Spine, Total Joints, Urology, Endo/Laparoscopic, Vascular, Gynecology, among others. Scrubbing experience is required. Inpatient experience is necessary. First-timers are accepted if they have 3 or more years of experience. Floating to outpatient surgery as needed. Must have experience with the Da Vinci Xi surgical system. Types of cases preferred include Ophthalmology, Plastics, Podiatry, ENT, Robotic assisted Gynecological procedures. Past experience with outpatient procedures is a plus. Candidates must have skills in various surgical techniques and knowledge of aseptic procedure. Candidates may be expected to float between different facilities. Refusal to float may result in assignment termination. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and requests for time off must be provided upfront. References covering recent experience are required. Candidates should not contact facility personnel directly unless arranged by management.
