Senior Sterile Processing Tech SMMC Sterile Process

This SPT will be working primarily independently. Strong critical thinking and communication skills are required. All experience requirements are hard stops. Do not pass or screen.

Experience Requirements:

• 5 years exp (3 of which should be in a shift lead/preceptor/team lead exp in a hospital setting)
• No first time travelers - hard stop

Variable availability required. On call required. Weekends may exceed every other to accommodate unit needs. Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.

The shifts are variable and are the following:

• 0500-1330
• 0630-1500
• 0700-1530
• 1000-1830
• 1330-2200
• 1900-0330
• 2130-0600

On call shifts are the following:

• 2200-0700 weekdays
• 0700-1900 weekends/holidays
• 0700-0700 weekends/holidays

All call is split within the department as fairly as possible.
