Job Details Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor & Delivery Nursing Location: Hyannis, MA 02601 Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 14 weeks Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts Shift Schedule: Nights, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., every other weekend, rotating holidays Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,700 - $2,840 Setting: Inpatient hospital environment Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts Recent OB/Labor & Delivery experience required Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred/expected Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required Completion of fetal monitor course every 2 years required Successful completion of pharmacology competency exam required Strong communication skills and the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently BSN preferred Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) preferred Responsibilities Deliver patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Monitor patient responses to medications and treatments Provide accurate, timely documentation throughout the patient’s stay, including assessment findings and discharge planning Communicate pertinent clinical information to the care team to support safe, coordinated care Serve in the charge nurse role as needed and support unit operations Act as a resource for staff education, orientation, and patient care guidance Uphold safety standards and comply with blood/body fluid policies and procedures Maintain current professional knowledge and ongoing development Deliver exceptional service to patients, families, visitors, and coworkers Support quality improvement efforts and contribute to a positive care environment Apply now to join this rewarding Labor & Delivery RN job in Hyannis, Massachusetts and make a meaningful impact in maternal and newborn care.
