Business ControllerDe positieAls Business Controller bij Boluda Towage Rotterdam werk je op het snijvlak van finance, data en operatie. Je analyseert financiële en operationele prestaties en vertaalt deze naar heldere inzichten en concrete adviezen voor management en directie.Je werkt dicht op de operatie en hebt regelmatig contact met managers en andere stakeholders binnen de organisatie. Hierdoor krijg je goed zicht op wat er achter de cijfers gebeurt en waar mogelijkheden liggen om prestaties en processen verder te verbeteren. In deze rol rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de General Manager.Als Business Controller ben je onder andere verantwoordelijk voor:Analyseren van operationele KPI's, waaronder beschikbaarheid, bezettingsgraad en kostenontwikkelingen.Monitoren en analyseren van financiële prestaties, budgetten en forecasts.Uitvoeren van variantieanalyses en verklaren van relevante afwijkingen.Signaleren van trends, risico's en verbetermogelijkheden binnen de operatie.Ontwikkelen en verder professionaliseren van dashboards en managementrapportages.Vertalen van financiële en operationele data naar concrete inzichten en adviezen.Ondersteunen van besluitvorming door financiële en operationele informatie met elkaar te verbinden.Bijdragen aan verbeterprojecten en digitaliseringsinitiatieven.Samenwerken met verschillende afdelingen om processen, informatievoorziening en performance verder te optimaliseren.De kracht van deze positie zit in de directe verbinding met de operatie. Sleepboten zijn 24/7 actief en operationele keuzes hebben direct invloed op beschikbaarheid, kosten en resultaat. Je rapporteert daarom niet alleen over wat er is gebeurd, maar draagt vanuit jouw analyses actief bij aan wat er beter kan.Over het bedrijfBoluda Towage Rotterdam maakt onderdeel uit van de Spaanse Boluda Towage Group, met het hoofdkantoor in Valencia. De organisatie is actief in onder andere Nederland, Spanje, Frankrijk, Latijns- en Midden-Amerika en Afrika.Boluda Towage behoort tot de toonaangevende havensleepbedrijven ter wereld en ondersteunt klanten dagelijks bij het veilig en efficiënt manoeuvreren van schepen. De activiteiten vinden plaats in een dynamische maritieme omgeving waarin veiligheid, beschikbaarheid, betrouwbaarheid en operationele efficiëntie centraal staan.In Nederland opereert Boluda onder andere vanuit Rotterdam. Je bent nieuwsgierig, stelt de juiste vragen en bent in staat om vanuit cijfers en data tot heldere inzichten en onderbouwde adviezen te komen.Daarnaast beschik je over:Een afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding in Finance, Bedrijfseconomie, Controlling of een vergelijkbare richting.Enkele jaren relevante werkervaring als Business Controller, Data Analist of in een vergelijkbare analytische finance positie.Ervaring met het opbouwen en onderhouden van Power BI of vergelijkbare rapportage- en analysetools.Sterke analytische vaardigheden en het vermogen om hoofd- en bijzaken van elkaar te onderscheiden.Het vermogen om financiële en operationele cijfers te vertalen naar begrijpelijke en bruikbare adviezen.Het vermogen om financiële en operationele cijfers te vertalen naar begrijpelijke en bruikbare adviezen.Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en voldoende overtuigingskracht om jouw inzichten over te brengen aan verschillende stakeholders.Een proactieve instelling en de bereidheid om actief de samenwerking met de organisatie op te zoeken.Affiniteit met een omgeving waarin Finance en Operations nauw met elkaar verbonden zijn.Je voelt je prettig in een dynamische en operationele omgeving en bent zichtbaar binnen de organisatie. Je combineert analytische diepgang met een praktische instelling en wilt met jouw expertise niet alleen inzicht geven in de prestaties, maar vooral bijdragen aan verdere verbetering van Boluda Towage Rotterdam.
