HonorHealth seeks an accomplished Board-Certified Physiatrist to lead its established ACGME-accredited PM&R Residency Program as Program Director in Scottsdale, Arizona.

\n

Founded in 2019, the residency has grown into a strong program with four residents per year , dedicated core faculty, and broad clinical training across multiple PM&R practice settings. This is an exceptional opportunity for an academic physician leader to build upon a strong foundation while helping shape the next chapter of program growth, innovation, and national distinction.

Opportunity Highlights

• Lead an established and growing PM&R residency program with strong institutional support
\n
• Partner with experienced faculty across inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings
\n
• Teach and practice within HonorHealth Rehabilitation Hospital , a key clinical training site for residents
\n
• Collaborate with a robust interventional physiatry program within the Bob Bov Neuroscience Institute , including advanced spine and musculoskeletal care
\n
• Help shape a new multidisciplinary wellness center integrating PM&R, orthopedics, performance optimization, and a medical fitness model
\n
• Expand curriculum development in neurorehabilitation, musculoskeletal medicine, spine, electro diagnostics, regenerative and interventional therapies
\n
• Collaborate with physicians, scientists, and engineers through the Arizona State University John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering
\n

Ideal Candidate

\n

\n
• Board Certified in PM&R
\n
• Minimum 5 years ACGME Core Faculty /APD/PD ( GME leadership preferred)
\n
• Commitment to resident education, mentorship, and academic program development
\n
• Interest in innovation, interdisciplinary models of care, and building nationally recognized training programs
\n
• Experience in spine, musculoskeletal, neurorehabilitation, or academic physiatry valued
\n
