Job Description

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds Physician with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. This opportunity offers an outpatient-only practice serving an underserved patient population within a mission-driven healthcare organization.

Providers will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with strong clinical support while delivering comprehensive primary care across the lifespan.

Schedule: Monday – Friday (open to 3–4 consecutive days)
Patient Volume: 16–18 patients per day
Call: Very light after-hours telephonic call

Call Responsibilities
Very light after-hours telephonic call
Calls are first triaged by experienced RN staff
Provider contacted only for urgent situations or documentation clarification

Weekend or Holiday Call: None
Clinics are closed on major holidays.

Schedule & Coverage
Expected Schedule
Monday through Friday coverage
Five days per week preferred
Open to 3–4 consecutive day schedules
Lunch Break: 1 hour

Candidate Requirements
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds
Minimum 2+ years of experience preferred
Willingness to see 16–18 patients per day
Meet quality metrics for preventive and chronic disease management

Credentialing
Fast credentialing turnaround
Credentialing with major payors supported
Prior Medicare/Medicaid enrollment not required but preferred
