Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Observation Unit to provide high-quality nursing care for patients placed in observation status who require short-term monitoring, assessment, and treatment. The RN is responsible for performing comprehensive patient assessments, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is clinically skilled, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a diverse patient population in a fast-paced observation setting. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Observation Unit nursing experience required
Current Michigan RN license required
BLS (AHA) certification required
Epic EMR experience preferred
Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills required
Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills required
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients in a dynamic clinical environment
Experience with observation, medical-surgical, or ambulatory patient care preferred
