About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License: Active California state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: - Experience with arterial lines and phlebotomy - Proficiency with PICC lines and chest tubes - Capability to manage vents, telemetry, and IV starts Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our ICU team. The nurse will work night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts each week. The position requires floating to various locations as needed. The patient population includes cardiac, neuro, general, stroke, medical, surgical, kidney, liver solid organ transplant, and trauma patients. The schedule will be provided two weeks in advance, and there will be no blocked or self-scheduling. Nurses will receive a phone call two hours prior to their shift to confirm the facility they will be working at. Successful candidates must be comfortable floating among three locations. Candidates must be available to work during certain holidays. No time off requests will be accepted during the first two weeks of employment. Only applicants with the required experience and skills will be considered.
